Texas A&M Women's Basketball defeated University of Tennessee on Sunday with a tight win, ending the game at 61-59. Tennessee led Texas A&M through most of the first three quarters, but in the fourth quarter Texas A&M rallied from behind to walk away with the victory.
Sophomore Danni Williams led the team in points, earning 18 throughout the game. Junior Khaalia Hillsman led the team in rebounds with 15 and sophomore Anriel Howard just trailed her with 13 for the afternoon. Senior Curtyce Knox led the team in assists with 10.
The victory over the Vols brings Texas A&M's current season record to 19-6 and their conference record to 9-3. Next up the Aggies will take on LSU on Feb. 16 in Baton Rouge, LA at 7pm.
