Khaalia owned Jessica Jackson. There was a sequence in the 2nd quarter that really showed how Curtyce is playing. With about 5 minutes left, Curtyce made a great move to cut off the Arkansas player moving to the basket, and after we got the ball, she kept calling for the ball because Taylor was open in the corner, and then she got it and passed to Taylor who nailed the 3. And that big halftime lead was with Anriel out.
You could really see the subs needed that playing time badly. They ran the plays good but twice missed a shot right under the basket. Hope they get more good minutes Sunday against a struggling UF team.
Including free throws we made an astounding 50 of 71 shots.
Danni was like Josh Reynolds last night when she made a couple of great over the shoulder catches.
Everyone who was there last night needs to start talking up this team to everyone they know and lets get a big crowd when they host LSU.

Hard to say that Khaalia owned Jackson because the Arkansas post D was so bad that it was hard to tell who was supposed to be defending Hillsman.

More seriously, I thought both coaches set up their defenses to avoid a 1 on 1 of Hillsman vs Jackson. For the Ags, it was mostly Anriel and then Jasmine who were on Jackson with lots of help to deny her the ball or the ability to move when she did receive a pass. I think Cooley was the main defender on Khaalia. In the postgame comments, after talking about it being a total butt kicking, Dykes said that they completely failed to execute what they practiced for defending Khaalia.

Even though it's only year 3 for him, I'm wondering if Dykes is on the hot seat. Amanda Butler could be in trouble too; their new AD hired Vic at Miss State.
