I have to admit that I like Andy Landers better as an analyst on SECN than I thought I would. Second season for Joni Taylor has not been impressive so far, but consistency isn't our strongest attribute this year and they are still talented enough to be dangerous.

Danni has missed 28 of 34 shots in the 2 SEC games. Maybe Gary needs to full court press at the start of the game to get the team to wake up. With no contribution from the bench all 5 starters must have decent games for the team to succeed. Our free throw shooting has been great.

How does the bench contribute from the bench?

Danni has been in a slump the past two games. Again, our 3-point percentage was horrible, 0%. I noticed Lumpkin didn't have a good game either. I don't recall her being in foul trouble so I'm not sure what happened with her. We only went with a six man rotation again and started off slow and tried to make yet another comeback. Time to go back to the drawing board. What's the definition of insanity again???

We don't press at the start because of depth.

Maybe should start Knox, Howard, and 3 bench players. Maybe the 3 starters sitting on the bench for 2-3 minutes would get their motors going and calm Danni down enough to shot half way decent. Don't see how the starts of games could be much worse. Joking a little, but not totally.
Coach Blair said got to win games now, but if played bench more [even losing some games] might pay off in more wins down the road. Bench players could develop into useful players and not totally wear out starters both physically and mentally.

Gary hates playing freshmen but we've got a couple of really athletic ones who would contribute energy if nothing else.

We need to hire Vic, Gary is tired and ineffective!
