The Texas A&M Women's basketball team fell to SMU 53-54 in Dallas tonight for their second straight loss. A slow first half put the Aggies into a deep hole that they were unable to climb out of despite a late surge in the second half.

Texas A&M went on a 14-4 run in a very dominant fourth quarter putting the Aggies within 2 points of the lead. Williams lead the Aggie charge with 21 total points. Howard tallied a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds.

Despite the hard-fought charge, the SMU Mustangs held onto the lead. The Mustang bench outscored the Aggie bench, which managed to only put up 2 points. SMU also outscored the Aggies by 6 in fast break points.

The Aggies will face TCU on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
