Texas A&M women's basketball hosts former conference foe Texas Tech on Thursday, November 17 at 7 p.m., as the Aggies look to improve their record to 2-0 for the 11th time in 12 seasons. This is the 75thmeeting in the all-time series between the two national championship-winning programs, but first meeting since 2012.

The game is broadcast on SEC Network Plus, with Will Johnson and Dr. John Thornton on the call. Authenticated subscribers can access the game exclusively on WatchESPN and the ESPN app through their computers, smartphones, tablets and smart TVs. Tom Turbiville and Bret Dark bring the game to listeners on KWBC 1550 AM, and on 12thMan.com.

Several ticket specials are available for this game, including Aggies CAN, where fans can donate four canned goods to for a free admission to the game; Take A Kid To The Game where one full price adult ticket allows four kids 12 and under to get into the game for free; and as always, Texas A&M students with a Sports Pass can get in free.

Texas A&M has a seven game home winning streak against Texas Tech, and has won four straight in the series overall. Two of the Aggies' signature wins as a program have come against Texas Tech, a 67-64 win over No. 4 Texas Tech in 1994, propelling the Aggies into the Top 25 for the first time in program history, and what stood as the Aggies' highest-ranked win until 2009. In 1996, the Aggies defeated No. 7 Texas Tech 72-68 in the Southwest Conference Tournament championship game, winning the final Southwest Conference championship and the first conference championship for Texas A&m.

The Aggies, ranked No. 24 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll, are coming off of a season-opening 74-49 win over 2016 NCAA Tournament participant Central Arkansas on Nov. 13. Danni Williams led the charge for Texas A&M, scoring a career-high 25 points. Khaalia Hillsman posted a double-double and Curtyce Knox had a career-high 11 assists in that game.

The Lady Raiders won their season opener 90-80 over North Dakota on Nov. 13. UCLA Transfer Recee' Caldwell had 28 points to lead Texas Tech.
