I'm being a bit sarcastic b/c I think we are living in an insane market right now...I honestly don't think it does, but it would not surprise me in the least...CPI is Thursday and if it comes in a bit cool, I think this donkey market runs to new ATH...the rug pull at some point in time is going to be epic...not sure when...November or 2025 and there will be massive buying opportunities IMO

Nvidia's forward PE is actually the lowest of the Magnificent 7. Their next two quarters earnings are going to be blowouts. Nvidia is monetizing AI right now. Other companies big AI profits are further in the future.

Obviously the concern is what happens after the next two quarters. All Nvidia's customers have been double and triple ordering their chips.

This.

Even if its a few shares, NVDA should be in everyone's portfolio. imo

I meant to own it outright...not in an ETF.

Yeah, I know. I just think some people forget or simply do not know what their holdings are in funds. You might own more than you think.

Take me for instance...I was thinking about this exact stock with it's run up because I don't own any outright but confirmed I own a decent amount of it in funds.

man I bought ~$5k worth of it at that nov '21 peak.. then sold at a loss. that was LOOOONG dip.

What sucks is I RARELY sell stuff. SMFH.

I did buy back in at $490 though, since I had major regret selling it.

Looks like that Paul Pelosi call option is working out. Going on memory, but I think he paid $400 a share on 50 contracts with a strike price of $125. Dude is $65 a share in the green with room to run.

I'm not an option trader, but I've studied the basics. Someone may correct my understanding. About one month ago, Paul Pelosi purchased 50 options (each equates to 100 shares) of NVDA for $400 a share. The strike price was $125 (may have been $135…going on memory) with an expiration in December of 24. This means Paul can exercise that option at any point before that time. I assumed he has already executed. The effective price of the shares is $525 per share. Since NVDA is trading at $595, Paul can exercise his option to buy ant $125 and then sell at the going price if $595. This gives him a profit of $350k ($70 x 5000).

Again…going on memory with only a surface level understanding of option trading.

You mean 50 contracts for $400 per contract with a strike of $125? Then sold said contracts in December?

There are a lot of call options at $600 providing resistance.

Based on their earnings report, I think it will easily hit $1000 at some point this year.

NVDA makes up 27% of the holdings of the mutual fund FSELX. I bought about 500 shares of FSELX back in 2017, and through dividends I now have 1000 shares. It's done pretty well, turned $5500 into about $30k today.

26% avg annual return for the last decade.

I took a similar approach to resist fomo'ing in, calculating out weight in all the index funds I own (some more tech/growth focused) I indirectly own roughly $40K in NVDA, which would be more than I own directly in any single position besides PLTR

aapl is def my largest holding

I have 375 direct shares with another ~45 in mutual funds, and wife (I manage her fidelity) has 260 direct with ~35 in mutual funds
So over 700 all in.

First bought chunks of direct aapl back in late 2016 in the mid $20s, early 2017 in mid $30s with more in 2020 and 2021.
All the mutual funds were in 2017 when it was still in the $30s

amzn is probably second place; bought 19 shares in 2/2017, pre 20:1 split. Surely have more in some of the same mutual funds that have aapl.
