I assume it's basically like keeping a physical key in a private security box, right? I can access my crypto online unless I physically go there and take the wallet from them?

My belief is that once you own a minimal amount of BTC and it has surpassed a certain price level you will be able to take out loans against it, so exactly correct.

I don't think that is how it will work in the end. I think banks will have cold wallets akin to safety deposit boxes or something similar.

Edited to add: Perhaps they will also set up amd offer services for clients in the manner of the post office but for crypto.

Totally agree. But until we can get more than a small percentage of the population to learn and interact with cryptos, this is the kind of crap we are going to get. She doesn't give a **** about the little guy, she's peacocking to either pay off "campaign donations" from big banks/financial institutions or pushing this BS to collect more from them.


We need to have much wider adoption of the actual technology, not just pure trading speculation for financial gain. These projects need to get launched and into the mainstream soon. **** or get off the pot.... if this industry is just about converting tokens into worthless fiat currency, it will never mature.

listened to this hearing live and I've never felt as much outrageous at a politician as I did at that moment. I was screeeeeaming at the livestream. Twunt provides patently false data regarding bitcoin in a hearing supposed to be discussing CBDC's. I blame the El Salvador news and handlers from IMF telling her to attack. The IMF [loan sharks] also made a string statement on the matter.

Fwiw, you still can't transfer those coins to exterior wallets (ie a cold wallet). And imo, if you can't move it out you don't own it.

That said, more people buying/selling even within one exchange only is good for crypto so I'm with fat sexy (lol) and bullish about this.

Is it just those 4 highlighted? Interesting.. I've already been switching most of my investment into ETH and LTC while looking for small entries on BTC.

News like this, the El Salvador news and the decent market consolidation for the past 2 weeks has gotten me to a much more bullish sentiment in the near term.

to pile on, a major central American bank out of Honduras with a couple dozen billion dollars is publicizing support for ES's bitcoin law.

It seems like everyone gravitates toward 1-2 coins that they fall in love with. Yours is clearly LTC. Would love to hear why you like it so much, only to expand my knowledge - seems like the more common opinion is that it will be obsolete sooner than others.
