A lot of emotional investors in these markets. They see something falling and they panic. Horde behavior is going to continue to cause ridiculous volatility.

I suppose the good thing is when people panic sell at the bottom it creates good buy opportunities for people thinking about the longer-term.

The moral of the story here is that if a crash really does happen, you're likely not going to get your money out in time due to exchange site crashes.

I'm currently pretty evenly in each of BTC, ETH, LINK and ADA. I'm thinking I will keep these existing positions but add to ETH, LINK and ADA during the dip.

I use Gemini, but want ONE and ADA. Was going to try crypto.com exchange but I was reading about its problems a page or 2 ago. Unless you guys have any warning against binance.us, that's the exchange I'm going to use. It has both of the coins that I'm interested in. And no I'm not in texas for the next few months, so not worried about a vpn.

I have no issues with binance.us (not in Texas either). I've been getting everything through it and it's been super easy.

Edit - I do have LINK through Coinbase as well as some BTC and ETH from a while back. Seems between the two, they have the main coins, but not all the more gamble worthy alts.

Ok, well the reason I thought about it is that the guy who tipped me to Ethereum back in the day (see my post earlier on when I got in) told me tonight he thinks Matic is the next big coin very few people are talking about that can potentially explode. Good luck to all.

I am no expert. I muddled my way through it twice. Once for safemoon and once for shiba. The fees are very high. There could be a way around it but I don't know what it is. Maybe someone else can chime in.


What were the fees? What did you have to set the slippage to on uniswap?


I got hosed on Sunday doing this.

$500, miner fee was $180, gas was $20ish.

They took the $200 and said they couldn't find the SHIB....first time so not sure what I did wrong but kinda pissed they took half of the money for nothing...



crypto.com had a real problem because they were overrun with purchasers and sellers. I didn't see my purchase in my account for almost 48 hours but it ended up showing up and it was correct. Bought 125 mill coin of shib so we'll see what happens

Cardano holds stronger and bounces back quicker than the majority of tokens. Imo, it is a testament to the Cardano community and the prospects on the horizon.

FWIW

Littercoin jumped from ETH to Cardano. It's not going to move the needle but it is a nice intentioned project and a possible sign of things to come; projects migrating to Cardano and the realization that Cardano is "greener".

Yes, just buy low and sell high. In other words, don't buy high and sell low and you should be fine.
