How active are you intending to manage this? Are you buying only stocks or can you consider options or alternative investments? Is this intended to be super high risk "bet it all on black" investment or is there some amount of risk tolerance cap?

Purchase 2 used SNOO smart baby bassinets for ~$1000 each and rent each out for $75-100 per month for a year on average. Sell after a year for at least $750 each (low end). That's 65% return on investment in one year.

Obviously this isn't scalable but if you're working with $2,000 and willing to actively manage this is doable.

Only know about this because we are considering buying one for two months and then selling it.
