How long do you want to ignore this user?
Probably a long shot but does anyone know who could help my daughter in law find out about her tax return? It was filed in February and she still hasn't got it. She also never got her stimulus payment.

She is a single mom who has been out of work. We have tried calling IRS and can't get a human.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Have her call the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service. 877-777-4778. Often take some hold time, but this is a helpful group with a real person that can act as a case manager.

How can she be a daughter in law if not married?

There are a few scenarios. They aren't usually fun.

She can go to the IRS website and click the tab for "get your refund status" to at least see if they received it and show it still being processed. Going to be hard to talk to someone with the IRS but perhaps not as hard as it would have been up to about two weeks ago.
