If a foreign national is currently in the U.S. on a work Visa and is subject to court proceedings in which they lose, can they bolt from the country and not have to pay the judgment? Basically, are ex-pats judgment free?
Does the judgment create issues if they re-apply for a Visa in the future and try to come back to the U.S. for work?
