Currently unemployed using United Healthcare COBRA which is $2400 per month for family of four for medical, dental and vision. $3,000 family deductible, $5,000 max out of pocket per year. It is looking like my job search will extend into 2019 so I am currently evaluating other health insurance alternatives for next year until I find a job. Can anyone recommend an insurance broker which can help me evaluate different alternatives for a "young" family?

Also, are there any reasons why we shouldn't use Obamacare vs other providers?

If your family is generally pretty healthy and does not have outstanding illnesses that need regular treatment or medication look into a share plan such as Medicare or liberty share. This will be significantly cheaper for you
