Hello All,

I am 29 years old, have a steady job, invest in the stock markets, max out 401k, and invest in mutual funds. I feel like I am doing all the right things, but curious how my salary compares to others out there. Of course this will all depend on Industry, position, etc.

I will start it off.. lets see how this pans out

Snow and Bear, you guys mind sharing what your bonus' have been in the past

We have performance based bonus', but the targets to hit are basically out of reach

I hear others who make close to a 20k per year Bonus.. that's almost automatic

Mine depends upon how much production our team does, but normally 30-50% of salary at end of the year.

Today was my last day at my previous employer of 9 years. So current salary is zero for two days. It will a bit less that it was previously on Monday. Changing industry sectors a bit for what I hope to be more growth potential.

Good work maxing out that 401k at 67k! I didn't get around doing that till I exceeded 85k/yr in base salary.

Not necessarily, but it definitely helps. I have a poultry and economics background. Worked in live production for a bit and then jumped into sales. I was with a smaller company so I got a lot of first hand experience working in multiple areas and not just sales which gave me a good grasp of how to operate an entire division.
