So I'm looking to buy a house Q1 next year probably. I've got a good chunk of that down payment money sitting in my brokerage account in short term treasury bonds/money market funds. I was wondering if anybody had good ideas for a conservative investment (I want to be very risk-averse with down payment money) that yields better than short term treasury bonds - because it is a sizable amount of money (obviously).
I'm already well exposed to the market via ETFs and individual stocks.
