Does anyone have any recs on standing desks for an office environment? Looking at getting around 10 of them and the prIces and quality seem to very greatly.

Any specific models, pricing, etc you can share or recommend?

I work at home so I have a sitting desk and I have a separate standing desk.

A lot of my clients either have adjustable cubicle desk for the entire desk and upper half of the back wall rise up and down or if they have full Hieght Cubes they will just remount the a section of desk at the appropriate height.

We moved into a new HQ earlier this year and moved the whole company to sit stands. Both offices and workstations. I think our office furniture is Knoll.

I'll just say I've really enjoyed it. Especially since I spend a lot of time on the phone pacing around my office and it's nice to have my computer at standing height rather than having to sit down while I'm on the phone.

I'm leaning towards the whole desk rising rather than just a tray like the Varidesk - although the cost savings would be nice.

Has anyone used any of the Steelcase or NextDesk models - or similar?

I'll take a look at the Knoll and Linak desks as those seem in the same ball-park.

I have an Ergotron desk in my cubicle. It's ok. You can't use most of the table behind the attachment.

The whole premise of standing desks are great though. If I had to pick what I'd supply my company with, I'd go with Varidesk which has been brought up.

I have Varidesk. Quality is very good, comes out of the box ready to use, and has held up well. I don't use it as much as i should but it's really cool to have.

I use Varidesk at work and bought my nurse one. We both love them. Make sure you get a floor pad, though.

I was going to suggest looking on Craigslist or resale sites for used VariDesks. A bunch of people got them in our office and then about half stopped using them within 1-2 months.

We have full sit-to-stand motorized desks from Steelcase.

Not sure. The entire desk raises and lowers electrically at the push of a button.

Bought a manual crank sit / stand at IKEA that is good sized and cost effective. Adds another element of minor exercise but easy to use. Whole desk top moves.

Costco has a electric one that is nearly the same price ($200-$250) right now if they still have it. May be smaller than what I got but appears to be a good deal compared to what you'll pay for a commercial furniture brand.
