How long do you want to ignore this user?
Ive got a product that has been designed and is now being prototypes by an industrial design company who I suppose is outsourcing the prototyping of our product. They say they will set us up with a "production pack" which should have all the specs and dimensions of our product... so that's all nice.. but once they are done prototyping our product and when we are ready to go into production, how do I go about finding and vetting the right manufacturer for our product? Thank you

Search the site. You will
Have to contact a number of potential suppliers. Try and get them on the phone, describe your peoduct, have them describe what they usually do and their process. If it's a match you'd submit your drawings and files to them for a quote. It's common to have an NDA signed when getting quotes.

If you want it made overseas, then I'm not sure where to start for that.
