The Museum of the American G.I., a non-profit 501(c)3 entity, has an oil well on their property. The museum has both surface rights and mineral rights. The well produces very little oil, and the small amount of gas that is produced is flared off. The royalties paid to the museum are insignificant. The museum Board believes the lease has expired and a breach has occurred since there was no production for nearly 2 years back in the 2011-2012 period. The Board desires to have someone perform the necessary lease searches and file a Good Faith claim with the Railroad Commission.
