I have developed a product (that is soon to be patent protected, so I will not disclose what it is) but like many products, it will likely need repair and maintenance on the other side of going to market. Are there 3rd party repair and maintenance companies? It is mostly mechanical in nature, with slight electrical work, but over not too complex of a product. I've heard there are companies where you can hold parts at their shop and are stationed more locally. I will be selling this product out of state, therefore I will not be able to manage all repairs by myself. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Think of a company that makes a product along the same line or industry as you and then figure out what they do. And if they do it well. I would then contact any of their service providers and get a feel for how the process works. I think those steps would lead you in the right direction.
