I've been happy with Vanguard.

Have both. Prefer the interface of Fidelity, but TD had a better research filter/export system.

What are your intentions with it? Trade? Buy and hold?

If I want to trade and write covered calls which is easier/cheaper? Current custodian forbids options trading in ira...

Thanks

IInteractive Brokers.

Fidelity is $8 a trade. IB is a fraction of that.

I should add that you have to pay a monthly fee for real time data with IB. If you're active though, and trade regularly (generating certain amount of commission), the fee is waived.

Or, you can real time info elsewhere, like I do.
