Just got my first boiler room call. Guy was trying to sell me ANVV (I think, didn't write it down). He wasn't very happy when I told him I wanted to research it first.
Had a lunch with a guy high up at GE. He is surprisingly confident that GE will be back above 30-40 in the next 5 years. I didn't know what to say to that, especially after he talked about the money management issues they have.

I don't think it will happen, but I sure hope it does. I have a lot of shares that I am negative on.
Among about a dozen other issues they have to solve to ever come close to that kind of gain in the share price. Good luck with that

I'm long ~200 shares with cost basis of about $110. Any reason to sell cc, or not? At this point, I wouldn't be too mad if I had the cash, but I'm not necessarily looking to sell.

I sold some covered calls against 25-40% of all portfolios but only sold the trade, being option calls.
No reason to sell shares.
Low risk/high reward is AAPL $205 weeklies. Lot of times the flash crash is followed by a short squeeze move. IF markets have an upward day that would be AAPL IMO.
