What becomes of the physical buildings? What is remarkable is that they have stores within 10 miles of each other.

A lot of Lowes appear to be in strip centers, so I would assume they were leased and not owned. That's a complete guess though. There are definitely freestanding Lowes, but I have zero idea on what their leases or real estate ownership is.

I guess I have only ever seen a free standing store. I worked at the one in Bryan on hwy 6 for 2 years in college. I've always preferred them to HD.

I'd like to see that $190 gap fill on momentum and overshoot it to $185. But I'd likely sell Puts at $190 and buy shares long at $185.

News looking at antitrust suit against GOOG, FB, AMZN taking a hit. I bought FB weekly $145 Puts just to see if it accelerates like AMZN is to the downside.

Hey, that gap on AAPL is actually $192 not $190. How momentum would impact remains the wild card. It could flash to $185 but I did adjust Put sells to be at the $192 mark.

Don't look now but energy is spiking. I don't like that today simply because its tea leave on elections. Dems win and energy policy gets torched.

Sold my 4th covered call on SWN this morning with a 12/21 expiration. This was a $6 strike as opposed to the $5.50 ones I have been doing. I have reduced my cost basis by 22% so far. If executed, it will be a 46% gain since May when factoring in the calls. It has been very nice for my small trading account.

AVEO call premiums still high. You could buy here around 2.60 and sell covered calls out to next Friday. Strikes at 3 are getting over .50 now. Either a long entry at 2 a share or a profit over 30% in less than 2 weeks.

Even the free standing locations are likely owned by an unrelated third party. Lowe's will honor whatever remaining term is on the lease. After that, the landlord/developer will need to repurpose the building.

I don't know why you say that. Every Lowe's store I've ever been in looks the exact same. It isn't like they are just using existing real estate. It's like Super Walmart building s new store and abandoning the old one.

SUM reports before the bell tomorrow. Sector peers results have been poor so no reason to expect an upside surprise.

That said I will be up early to see if a big spike down occurs premarket. If it does thats when I load up because its been beaten down from over $30 to here. I'll wager any selloff gets a quick rebound and run like AIG has had.
