For a rookie options 'roller'. Are you simply selling your 7/17 options for whatever value they have left and then purchasing new 8/21 options? Or is there a more sophisticated 'roll your options' method?

we had some discussion in the last page or two regarding PFE, curious to know your thoughts.
In particular, they will be merging their UpJohn pharmaceutical manufacturing business with Mylan (MYL), and spinning it off as a new company in an all-stock deal. PFE shareholders get some amount of shares in the new company and PFE shares will obviously be devalued. Should be happening any day now (has been put off to the second half of 2020)

I have some Jan2022 call in BA. If we see SPX continue to fall into the 2800 range, I think BA could follow it down, going back to 152. I don't see it lower than 141 unless the markets test the March lows.

I took profit on all of my AAL. When the news of their recent offering came out I removed all of the buy orders I had for AAL shares or calls. I have some LUV and added to my Jan2021 and Jan2022 calls today a bit, since I have a series of open buy orders for these. I added some DAL Jan2021 and UAL Jan2022 calls today as well.

I feel good about these longer-term calls in total, but it's reasonable that one of these companies won't make it. I don't expect the others to return to pre-covid prices over the next 18 months, but the strike prices are low enough that any positive run up can represent good value on these premiums. Negative covid news seems to impact the airlines more than the market as a whole, so if the increase in cases levels off I we are good. Definitely have to understand these are risky and limit the percentage of your portfolio appropriately.

This looks like a good long term play. They already have a great business model with the epic pass allowing you to buy one ski pass and going to all their resorts. Seems like they got punished for no spring ski season but that theres no adverse changes required to their business plan...

Love it long term. The technicals on it are a bit scary at the moment though.

my big concern is potential for a "second wave" to kill bookings for the upcoming ski season
