Learner here as well... but if you go back 7 to 10 days or so, OA stated that this is will get to $1.00 sooner rather than later.
My algo has been on fire! It went long yesterday 2975 and short today at 3140.

I'll go against the grain here, but nothing like a China headline for old time's sake to fill today's gap, retest the 8 EMA, and back test previous important level at 308? That is classic stop loss raid red/green long tail candle stuff right there.

The time to buy SPY puts was at 9:30 when it couldn't get up to 316 with the volume spike at 9:25.
The time to sell those was when it flashed under 300 in capitulation.
The time to buy 315 calls out to Friday was at 10:04 when the reversal back above 310 confirmed. The stop loss on those is any drop under 310 that isn't just a flash.

My guess is large spike in positives over last week and concern that next 2 weeks could stress hospitals. Best case is stringent guidelines, worst case is stay at home order.
I personally believe that there is durable immunity (proven in Apes), so I expect an over-reaction on hospital concern. BUT positive cases actually de-risk the city even though there is minimal collateral damage with old/unhealthy victims.
Could see similar news from other states. As my fever is breaking, I'm pretty confident on RCL puts 10 days out.
