How long do you want to ignore this user?
I'l be moving to DC in about a month or two for work. I'll be working in Riverdale Park, I'm 25 and single and looking for neighborhoods to live in that are safe, close to the Metro, and have good places to eat and drink. I am assuming I will have to take 2 out of those three for my budget.

I would like to keep my rent under $1,500. I'm guessing I'll need to have a roommate to find something for that price in a good area.

Also, is it worth bringing my car or should I use public transportation? Do apartments charge month for you to have a parking spot?

Welcome to the area! I don't have an opinion to offer on single living options, but it does seem like a lot of great option around Georgetown, DuPont Circle, etc.

There are actually quite a few Aggies here

I'm in Georgetown right now. I found a place off of 28th for 1500 but I think it's a finished out basement. Still, pretty *****in' neighborhood!

Just passing through though...
