Looking at a trip in June/July. Aiming at Nha Trang for a week and wanted to get any tips for that destination.

I can't speak specifically to diving but I am also going to be in Vietnam in July and was originally planning on 5 days in Nha Trang. I have some friends living in HCMC and they advised against it. They told me that they recently went and the city was dead and boring. Apparently tourists just aren't returning there post covid. I ended up reworking my plan and will spend some extra time in Thailand and Bali before going to HCMC.

We must have the same friends. I talked to one last night and she just got back from there and hated it. The vibe wasnt very good and the diving was pitiful.

I think I am going to do 2 weeks in Thailand in July and be done with it. Maybe a week in ****et and a week in Chang Mai/Rai or similar. Flight prices are not terrible so It is the front runner as of now.

I misread the OP as "driving." Was gonna recommend a rickshaw.
