My wife and I will be celebrating our 10-year anniversary next May. We have a 2yo currently and plan to have another kid next Spring. We are trying to figure out a good 10-year anniversary trip we can take. Grandparents have offered to watch the toddler and we will likely take the infant with us. We may also take the toddler if it is a trip with a daycare or kids club. We would like to make this a fairly big trip. Would probably plan the trip for Fall of 2024.

A few thoughts we have had:
- Beaches Turks and Caicos (would take both kiddos)
- Southern Spain Cruise (would only take infant) -- not sure of age limit on European cruises...
- Disney European Cruise (would take both kiddos)
- European River Cruise (would only take infant) -- found a couple companies who allow infants

Any suggestions?

Not sure what age kids clubs start, but I remember the last beach resort we went to had a minimum of 4 years old

You have 20 years to make travel memories with the kids...leave them both with the grandparents.

Some good trips there, but agree to have the time for yourselves. When they are older they (and you) will appreciate those trips more.

Did the same thing on our 10th. Left the 1 and 4 year olds with the grandparents, who were gracious enough to have both.

If you are comfortable leaving the smallest I wouldn't take either. But, with the youngest, that can be a big ask if they are 6 months and not sleeping through the night.

Many cruise lines are 1 year and up for European cruises. Most in the the US are 6 months. Beaches would be great for that age and all their babysitters are certified. I would think a resort would be better than a cruise at that age. Beaches is a fantastic option and I've never had any families not love it.

our 10yr is next year as well so I am in the process of lining us up something right now as well. Currently I've got a room reserved at Beloved in Playa Mujeres simply because of the deal at the time of booking was too good to pass up and rate is refundable if I want to cancel later on.

We are looking to just relax and chill for the most part and take advantage of a week away from the kids. I'm also currently researching places in Costa Rica, Antigua and St. Lucia. However, with us only having five nights most likely away I am not sure if it is worth going to those places when factoring in layover flights, and driving an hour or more (Costa Rica) to our destination. I want as little as stress as possible. Not particulalry wanting to deal with driving, car rentals, etc. So, I am also thinking maybe Sedona, Savannah, Martha's Vineyard. But even then not sure if I want to deal with having to drive. I dunno? I keep going back and forth on what to do.

Go now before you have kiddo #2. Just celebrate a little early.

Or push it back a few months and go when the newborn is a little older and either you or the grandparents are more comfortable with leaving both.

Beaches Turks and Caicos would be a great option. I definitely have some opinions on the different villages within the property and what would be a good fit for a family with littles and in general feel.

Also if wanting to do a European cruise a Disney one also might be a great option.

Feel free to reach out as my contact info is in my bio.

I toured site and stayed in Aug 2022 and all of my clients that have gone to have loved.

Bump. Starting to plan this for next May. We will def be going sans kids. Initial thought is Hawaii since neither of us have been and we've done AI's in several of your typical Caribbean destinations…please send suggestions!

Kauai is my recommendation

We avoid Ais without the kids leaving the resort is fun

Beaches T&C is fine, we've been twice for weddings but I don't think I'd go again but for a wedding
