Howdy!

My wife and I and another couple are off to Vietnam in late August. We need a double entry visa for Vietnam and a single entry for Cambodia.

Any recent (2022-post-pandemic) experiences, suggestions or advice you can lend about getting the proper visas? Visa services you used, etc?

Thanks!

No experience post COVID, but prior I never had issue w/ getting a Cambodian visa on arrival at the land border crossing at Chong Chom. They have an evisa you can apply for and use at some land borders and airports. A quick check of current entry requirements says you just need a vaccine certificate. Don't know about Vietnam.

For Vietnam - we used this service online. Worked very well. I believe we may have paid extra to have an agent meet us and escort us through the whole process.

For Cambodia, I believe we got it all done at the airport - had paperwork filled out in advance and had exact change.

We flew into Siam Reap. Our trip was December 2014.

You'll love it - both places are wonderful to visit.

Same as above- traveled in 2017.

Edit- applied for the Vietnam visa online but did not pay extra for an agent. Easy enough process on our own.

Just here to say that I'm jealous of this trip and looking forward to the recap.

You can get the Cambodia visa on arrival, but it's saves time to just get it taken care online before you go. I lived in Siem Reap for a while....you will love it!

I'll update this thread in September after we return.

(I'll be missing our first two games....what a bummer!)
