On a positive note, I'm on a empty plane to Vegas right now. Even better, there seems to be an abundance rig caution as people are wiping down seats and using a ton of hand sanitizer. That should be done on all flights in my eyes.
But...I did see some jackhole with gloves on eating a candy bar. Umm, the germs are on the gloves, the bar is on the gloves, the bar goes in your body. *sigh*
I can't wait until public schools can do the sameTXTransplant said:
Just saw on the news that the Wynn in Vegas is going to be monitoring the temps of guests with thermal cameras. Anyone with a temp of 100.4 or higher will discreetly be asked to leave.
The Wynn was the first casino to stop comping drinks for video poker players at the bar.TXTransplant said:

I paid $630 for 4 round trips to houston from denver on easter weekend.
I'm so pissed right now, because those same flights are $45/ea. All the policies are just flight credit to rebook in the near future.. yeh we're not going to visit family for easter again within 90 days!
United you have 12 months from book date to rebook. Frontier is 90 days to rebook from cancellation date. This easter trip was United there, frontier back.TXTransplant said:62strat said:

I'm in a similar boat. Made the final payment on a Nat Geo trip to Alaska I'm March 5, before the SHTF. Had already purchased flights to Seattle, Anchorage, Fairbanks, and back to IAH from Anchorage. Three different airlines, purchased with a combination of points and money.
I had to quit looking at the price changes. All I can do is sit and wait. Either we go, or everything will be cancelled.
I thought the airlines were saying credits were good up to your original booking date (meaning, if you purchased the tickets in Jan 2020, you have until Jan 2021 to rebook...?)

Right now I'm considering just booking the whole trip on SW (only 4k points per person round trip), then at some point cancel the united/frontier flights and use the $630 travel credit to maybe visit my bro in CA this summer. This way, if those SW are half as much in another 2 weeks, I can at least get the credit back.
Why not rebuy the tickets for $45 and take the vouchers for the $630 and use those next year when prices are back up?62strat said:
