I'm going on a week long Alaska fishing trip (Baranof Island/Sitka) this summer and it's the first time I've really done something like this. I want to make sure I pack the right clothes and supplies - any advice? Thanks for the help.

Pants and shirt for each day. Waterproof shoes like Bean Boots. Jacket or sweatshirt and hat for the morning. Easily don-able rain gear if you might be stuck outside. If you're carrying rain gear you probably won't need it. Fishing gear if not being guided.

Icebreaker Merino wool base layer and Defeet merino socks would be #1 and 2 on my list.

The most powerful mosquito repellent you can find. They are no joke when you get away from Anchorage. If you're fishing with guides, they will have bear spray, if you're on your own, bring some. The salmon fishing is unbelievable.
