If you are thinking about buying any shirts or other souvenirs, head towards The Sacre Coeur. Prices are A LOT cheaper than they are in Paris proper,
Sacre Coeur is in Paris proper...It's in the 18th Arrondissemont.
Now, I WILL say, that if you go to SC on the metro, get off on the Lamarck - Caulaincourt (IIRC) stop. It's up on top of the hill, too and you walk DOWN to SC. The metro stops south of SC require a big ****ing hike to get up there.
I learned that lesson the last time we were there.
We did a speed tour of Paris. We worked all day, then caught the RER in from close CDG where we were staying.
Then we saw SC, the Arc de Triumphe, the Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame in the span of a couple hours. Easy to do if you navigate the metro well.
But, our first stop was at what looked like the closest stop to SC...well, yeah...on a completely flat earth it would have been. But, it was also WAAAAAYYYY TF down the hill...My bad.
