I meant to post this awhile back, but nonstop flights from Houston to Cozumel starts on Southwest 3/7/20. Right now Houston is the only SW option for direct to Cozumel.
While fares may have gone up some, it was definitely pricing much better than crappier airlines to Cancun for Spring Break. While not ideal to fly into Cozumel for Cancun/Riviera Maya, for a family of 4 I was seeing savings of nearly $1k just on the flights, so having to catch a ferry to the mainland might be worth it. Just an FYI in case you hadn't thought to look at Cozumel before. I do wish the resorts there resembled more of what is in Cancun/RM, but most are smaller, some not on great beaches, and overall the reviews are subpar from the same name-brand resorts in other locations (Secrets for example).
