Can you swim in Miami in February. I'm looking at running the marathon there at the beginning of the month, but I don't think my wife will want to go if she can't get into the water

Ocean water is cold, but the air is warm. If you have a heated pool at your hotel, you can swim there. When I lived there, November -February were my non-beach months. I'm going in December and plan to have pool time.

Haha, I"m in the same boat. Going out for a conference in Feb and thinking of bringing the wife. Hardest part is figuring out what to do in the Ft Lauderdale/Miami area with just 2 nights stay.
