Is it too hot? I've read a lot about it being very hot and humid in August but we are from Texas and used to the heat. Curious if anyone has a first hand perspective. TIA.

I've been in August and yes it was excessively hot. I mean as long as you know it's going to be 100 everyday with zero clouds and you're good with it go ahead and go. Fishing is great at this time.

yep it's hot- I don't recall how hot it gets but I don't think 100+ is common..

We've been every May and August for last 5+ years and I don't mind it..

Just make sure to google how to over ride your ac controls in the room and set it to 60!

It's definitely HOT there in August but if you live in Texas and are used to the heat it should be pretty normal.
Take advantage of the POOL for sure!

Definitely spend time in the pool or the shade. It's hot but not unbearable.

Pisces is legit for fishing charters. They have plenty of boats that can accommodate your group
