Throwing around the idea of a quick family getaway to FL. 5 yo son is obsessed with Legos so wanted to see if anyone had first hand experience with the resort and parks in FL. We'd be going mid October so hoping that is a down time for them. TIA

We stayed at a Disney resort and just didn't do Disney one day and drove to legoland instead.
1 day was enough but it was pretty cool. The water park in the back of legoland is not included in the normal admission.

I went once. If your kid likes Legos he will have fun. If you also like Legos you will both have fun.
