Any good or just for the blue hair, oxygen tank, PAL Mal smokers?
Yep, and their $160+ green fees as well but most folks get free rooms/golf so it makes them feel like they win just by going. It pays to have degenerate gambler friends.DWren said:
Golden Nugget is way crowded and overpriced on the weekends IMO
most rooms will run $400 on weekends
if you live in Houston, this is nowhere near close to being accurate.1939 said:
Not worth going unless you have free rooms or go during the week. Rooms and table games are way overpriced. It's cheaper just to book a cheap flight to Vegas, you'll have much more fun for the same price.
Other than the specialty game bets, how would the payout odds of table games change?gindaloon said:
When you say table games are overpriced what do you mean? High minimums or bad payout odds?

agree with this, but it doesn't take THAT much to get free rooms if you play the table games. I haven't paid for a room in Lake Charles in years and I typically gamble with a bankroll of $500-1000 per trip. Unless you just hit a cold table and don't play long at all, you'll rack up points pretty quickly.1939 said:

I think they have to keep the prices that high so they don't have anyone at the tables who smokes through a hole in their neck.BenFiasco14 said:$25 per hand for blackjack on the weekends at golden nuggetgindaloon said:
