We are at Copper Mountain. Shuttle back to Denver tomorrow and flight to DFW on Friday. I'm not optimistic.

My son is at Copper Mtn but he shuttles to Denver on Friday with a late flight out that night.

We left Breck this morning at 4am. Snow, fog and rain for 4 hours until we hit Pueblo.

We then endured 12 hours of 60mph winds in the panhandle to Wichita Falls.

Saw 13 tipped over 18 wheelers today. 13!!

We are at Copper. Shuttle out tomorrow afternoon with hopes of our flight at 8:20pm being able to get out of DIA back to SA.

That is a brutal time for that drive. I've never experienced crazier weather than on that route and especially out in the panhandle.

Sandstorms, snowstorms, rainstorms, you name it.

drove through a sandstorm in between Clarendon and Memphis - saw another tipped over tractor trailer there.

Assuming you took 24 to Colorado Springs?
How was the roads/drive? Hoping to day trip up tomorrow to ski the gnar!

I-70 was fine and made it from Frisco to DIA quickly until we were at a stop and girl rear ended our van less than 10 miles from airport! Side roads such as Tower we're not good with ice and slush. Several wrecks and cars in ditches on side roads.
