Taking the family to PHX for Spring Break - baseball, golf, etc.

Any recommendations on the best approach to securing baseball tickets (is the secondary market better than paying face ahead of time?)

Also, any recommendations on things to do, restaurants in Scottsdale area?

Electric Desert at the Desert Botanical Garden is amazing and worth a visit.

I've done StubHub for tickets. It's the only way I've done it so can't comment on other methods

Scottsdale has awesome food. Just to name a few:
-Butters for breakfast (2 locations, there will be a wait if you get there after 8:30 or so but it is 100% worth it)
-Culinary Dropout for dinner in a lively atmosphere
-Roaring Fork for a nicer, kinda cowboy themed steakhouse.

Would recommend making reservations online for Culinary Dropout and Roaring Fork, usually a few days in advance to ensure the time you want

If you fly back on a peak day, get to the airport 3 hours early.

I was in a TSA line once that went down the stairs and into the main airport lobby and the Southwest line was awful, too.

Between check-in lines and security lines, I stood in line longer than the amount of time I sat on the plane.
