I'm looking for a good spot in between to stop and spend the night. Family of 4 (9 and 5 year old kids). Planning Biloxi on the way there, but looking for something different on the way back.

We have stayed in Spanish Fort, AL and Mobile, AL before. We have also done Biloxi. Pensacola could be an option but would make for a longer drive the next day. Are you looking for a place with something to do or just a place to stay?

We're looking for something to do, but nothing too big. I do lean towards having less drive time the next day.
I think you can still tour the USS Alabama in Mobile. In Spanish Fort there is a big Bass Pro Shop. As others have said the Blue Angels are in Pensacola.
