We are having a "babymoon" in South Florida. Staying in Miami. Planning a Miami/Southbeach day, a day trip to Key West, and I've always wanted to do an Everglades tour.

There are 100s of tours offered. Any suggestions for the best way to do the Everglades? My wife will be 2nd trimester so really should be able to do just about anything as long as it's not high impact or too terribly much walking. Are airboat rides smooth or rough? Any other suggestions or concerns?

We didn't do any tours, just walked on a trail, but I found it boring. We went for Spring Break this year. Made me realize I'm more of a mountain girl (despite living in cesspool Houston). Take that for what it's worth.

A 'day trip' to key west is a tall order. 2.5-3 hours each way. Thats a lot of time in the car for a pregnant lady.

And stop using the term babymoon.

Pretty redneck, but we had a great time.

ETA: Sorry, just saw that you said Miami. I'll leave it up anyway for anyone headed to the Orlando area.
