I will be there two or three days in late July and want to get some hiking in (beginner level). I also want to see Lake McDonald and the Going to the Sun Road. Are there any other must sees or dos y'all recommend?

Have fun - it's my favorite park....just absolutely stunning.

My then 8 year old son and I did the majority of the Highline Trail last summer....going back in July to do Grinnell Glacier.

The whole family also did the Hidden Lake Overlook Trail which was also absolutely stunning....my 5 year old was able to handle it without any problems

Second all of the above, and I'll add Iceberg Lake.

this! Highline trail is next to Logan Pass along Going to the Sun Road

you can't see much in only 2-3 days but these are perfect for you

there is another thread where I put my full itinerary over 10 days and got tons of advice from the boards.. do a search for many more ideas

Stunning is not a strong enough word for Glacier

Is this at Many Glacier Hotel and the Grinnel Glacier hike? 2 boats to get there? We did that and it was amazing!
