Good roads, back roads from Muskogee to
Siloam Springs.

Is that faster than hitting 40 just north of McAlester and taking it over to Ft Smith? Interstate all the way then interstate all the way into Fayettville from there?

No. Fastest route is always throughout Ft. smith, especially if headed to Fayetteville.

I did this last week on our way to Branson. We went 75/69 to McAllister and then 40 through Ft. Smith. Was about 5.5 hours total.
