I'm headed to West St. Louis for a work week the first week of May. Wife is joining me for the weekend. Cardinals game Saturday, but aside from the Gateway Arch does anyone have any insights or rec's on must sees/eats/do's? TIA

Dred Scott courthouse is next to Gateway arch

Ted Drews for custard ice cream

Bar scene is pretty good outside new Busch stadium

Forest Park is pretty good and they have a top flight inside that is free although you have add one that could add up

Hit up a BBQ place for ribs to compare to real Texas bbq

Stay at St. Louis Union Station. If you can't stay there, go have a drink at the bar for the light show. It's a must! Insanely cool!!!

Obviously you have to go see the Clydesdales and take a brewery tour.

We ate at Sugarfire BBQ. It was meh.

Grants Farm and the St. Louis Zoo are options.
If you have kids, there is a City Museum.

Pappy's for bbq. Order the ribs. There is a line so we try to get there early.

Zoo is great and free.

Forest Park is worth a visit. If you like art they have a great collection at the Art museum there.

Hit up The Hill neighborhood for italian food. I highly recommend Cunetto House of Pasta

If you are out west, hit up Annie Gunn's for dinner. Good food and wine.

We did the brewmasters tour at Budweiser. It was pretty cool to see a brewery at that large of scale. I would recommend it.

Bump for a summer trip with our boys (they will be 6 and 4 then).

We have the arch, City Museum, Cardinals game, Six Flags, Grant's Farm and the zoo on our agenda. Any other recommendations?

You already have the zoo and City Museum planned. Your kids will love them both. Fitz's , a root beer place and restraraunt, on the loop is good for kids if the bottle works is running. You might call ahead to see if it will be running while you are in town. It isn't far from Forest Park and the zoo.
