My wife and I are looking for good resort options in south Florida next month. My wife will is pregnant so this intended to be low key. I've not spent any time in south Florida/Miami area before and looking for help on resort ideas based on the following:
- Nice/decent luxury
- close to airport where hopefully we can avoid a car rental
- good beach/pool setup
- close to shops and restaurants where we can walk or uber to dinner
- good on property good options too

Any recommendations? Thanks!

Watch out for Zika

It seems like Zika instances are down quite a bit this year from what I'm seeing online.

Its one of the dumber terms that have been invented in a generation of dumbass terms.

Although this thread isn't going in the direction I intended, a babymoon is a vacation for a pregnant couple to go on to enjoy sleep and relaxation before the months of agonizing sleepless nights begin.

Btw, I'm totes gonna take like a million selfies on my babymoon...YOLO #blessed

Yep

We took a trip to Costa Rica when my wife was pregnant and got a scare with some very extreme stomach cramping (her) and she thought something was wrong. Didn't like being out of the country when that happened.

There are some swank options in Miami.
