Headed to Breck for SB. How hard is it to learn how to snow bike? I am 54 and in good shape to ski. Just intrigued.

You talking about the bikes with huge fat tires?

Should have said ski bike. The type you take up the mountain.

It's pretty easy. You put mini skis on your feet for balance, and you just have to get comfortable making cuts with the bike. It's kind of like drifting? Maybe.

I did it about 10 years ago...at night, through the trees, no helmet, and under the influence. Not one of my finer moments, but I survived and it was awesome. Wear a helmet.

Done it a few times in purgatory. If you can ski, it's pretty easy. Fun too

I did that a couple weeks after knee surgery, easy & fun.
