Will be in Iceland Oct 31 to Nov 7. Any suggestions for a northern lights tour?

i used http://www.gjtravel.is/iceland-tours/winter-northern-lights-tours/item/1002/northern-lights-exploration in 2015 and had a great time,, saw the northern lights several times

Any suggestions for overnight from Reykjavik?

the nights i stayed in reykjavik i just found a darkish park or street and looked up,, i did see them in reykjavik. but i knew i had that tour coming up also, so i wasn't worried about quality of northern lights in reykjavik and didn't do a one night tour

No suggestions on where to stay but I'm curious if you've practiced taking night photos (assuming you are going to try to photograph the auroras)? If not, you may want to start practicing with stars to get used to operating your camera in the pitch black and learning how to manually focus the camera to infinity and have crisp stars. I'm still trying to get my technique down and I've been doing it for 3 years now.
