Just booked airfare to go up to Whistler with a group of Aggies in mid January.

Flying into and out of Vancouver.

I don't think any of us have ever been to Whistler (or B.C. in general).

Any suggestions?

Extra things to do? Favorite spots to eat? Favorite spots to get a drink? Etc?

Thanks in advance!

I'm in Vancouver this week with my wife. We went to Whistler today. Awesome! Better than anything in Colorado. It's a must see!!

Are you staying any nights/days in Vancouver? If not, Whistler has a lot of bars all walking distance assuming you're staying in the village.

Was in Whistler last summer. Had a great time although camping is a little cutthroat.
British Columbia is Colorado on steroids.

Skied Whistler for 5 days on my Epic last season. It's a fun mountain(s) with a much lower elevation than most of CO's hills.

Eat a lot of poutine and enjoy the Aussies.

Edit: Lifts close fairly early leaving a lot of time left in the afternoons. There are some awesome waterfalls accessible by a short hike with snowshoes. Here's Brandywine where I took the drone up: https://instagr.am/p/BO_AKRklnXZ

Went to Whistler on my honeymoon. Awesome time with a lot to do. The village is really nice.

Definitely do the Capilano Suspension Bridge when you are in Vancouver...

I have my whole itinerary still with a whole list of things and activities you can do if you are interested in me sending it to you..

PM me with your email address

lots of options out there for transfers from YVR to Whistler.

We're just going skiing so the cheaper the better.

Any recommendations?

We did www.whistlerconnectiontravel.com . Smooth and easy. Can't remember how much it cost us though

Went a few years ago and they still have the luge/skeleton track. You can do the skeleton from I believe 3/4 of the way up the top of the track and you get up to 55/60mph. Definitely one of the COOLEST things I/We have EVER done!!!

Vancouver is an awesome city! If you end up spending a day or two there check out Stanley Park, Capilano suspension bridge, or just walk around the various districts around downtown
