What resort do you recommend? All adults - likely 15-20 of us. We want good food and great drinks, a great pool and beach and fabulous service. Asking too much?

Iberostar Grand Bavaro - its ranked higher than Excellence.

Every time we have went the service and quality has been consistent. If you read the TA reviews there are a number of repeat customers who say that none of the other resorts they have been to compare to it.

We've stayed at the Iberostar Grand Bavaro and it was excellent.

Can't go wrong with Excellence or Iberostar Grand Bavaro. We picked Iberostar due to the fact that it was closer and has a nice beach.

Hard Rock is the only one I've been to. Had a good time. Nice casino w/ sports book on property and food options are good. Rooms are also pretty nice.
