All we've booked so far is flights to arrive Madrid airport on a Friday morning then depart 8 days later on a Saturday. Below is what I've found so far that looks potentially interesting. Any recommendations?

- Rioja wine region - specific wineries or places to stay?
- Bay of Biscay coastline (Santander beaches, Playa el Sardinero)
- Santillana del Mar (west of Santander) medieval village
- Picos de Europa national park
- Pamplona - will be the week after festival has ended but might be worth seeing
- Navarra (near Pamplona) Urederra park
- San Sebastian (near France) - international jazz festival will be going while we're there
