Wife and I are looking for a 3-4 day trip with 2 kids (5&7) in early August.
Anyone recommend a good condo/property to stay? Which site do you use?

On the beach is a must. Nice pool or pools also preferred. Any other kid friendly musts in the area?

Many thanks

We've done GS the past 3 years (although in Sep, after school starts). We stayed in the Seawind condo. No real reason, other than it was the one we picked first, so we kept going back. It has a pool and a small spashpad. Also a fitness center.

It's in walking distance to The Hangout. Also the Sea n' Suds restaurant is at the base of it, right on the beach.
The beaches are nice and clean. So are the people.

The zoo is fun. It's small, so you can get around easy. They do different animal encounters that you can pay extra for.

There are a few go-cart tracks and mini-golf places. We've done "The Track" a couple times.

There are tons of restaurants. Most we haven't tried b/c we cook in a lot. The Hangout and Lulu's are fun. Kind of tourist traps, but fun for kids, and decent food. Cobalt and Shipp's Harbor are good too.

We stayed at Eden Resort, Perdido Key, FL when the kids were about that age. Picked the place by the giant pool and the open beach. It was great, but it was also our last beach vacation before we got more adventurous.

The Martinique. Beachfront condos and houses. Private beach!

Matt's ice cream is pretty good too.
