Thinking of heading up to Broken Bow for a weekend...either rent a cabin or a houseboat. Mostly just want to get out of DFW for a couple of days, drink some beer and relax. Anyone ever spent any time there and have any recommendations?

We love it there. Kayaking the river is always fun. I think the place we used to go to was Ambush Adventures.

We always go to the Grateful Head Pizza Oven. It's hippies severing pizza and beer. The golf course at the north end of the park is fun. It gets almost no play and the maintenance shows that but it's a fun track.
